Rome, Foggia and San Giovanni Rotondo: Arrival at Padre Pio's Places

Morning – Departure from Rome
Departure from Rome Termini station (or Tiburtina depending on schedule) with FrecciaRossa 1st class train to Foggia. Comfortable 3-hour journey through the Italian countryside—landscapes of Lazio, Molise and Puglia. Time for breakfast onboard, spiritual reading, or simply preparing inwardly for the pilgrimage. Upon arrival in Foggia, meet your private driver who will take you to San Giovanni Rotondo (about 40-50 minutes by car through the Gargano hills).
