Morning – Comfortable Departure from Florence

7:00 - Departure: The private driver will pick you up directly from your hotel in Florence with a comfortable and air-conditioned car or minivan. Scenic journey of about 2 hours and 30 minutes through the Tuscan hills and the Ligurian Apennines, with stops on request for coffee or photos. No rush, maximum relaxation.

9:30 - Arrival in La Spezia: The driver will take you directly to the port of La Spezia where you will board the panoramic boat for the most spectacular sea excursion on the Ligurian coast.

Boat Tour – The Cinque Terre from the Sea

10:00 - Panoramic Navigation: Departure from the port of La Spezia for about 1 hour of navigation along Italy’s most photographed coast. You will admire from the sea the five UNESCO heritage villages: Riomaggiore with its multicolored tower houses clinging to the rock, Manarola reflecting in the Mediterranean, Corniglia perched on the cliff 100 meters above the sea, Vernazza with its perfect little harbor, and Monterosso with the golden beach. Photographic stops during navigation to capture breathtaking views. The onboard guide will tell you the history and legends of these extraordinary fishing villages.

Guided Tour – Monterosso, Vernazza, and Manarola

11:00 - Landing in Monterosso al Mare: Meeting with your expert private tour guide for a 3-hour tour among the most iconic villages. You will start from Monterosso, the largest village with the Church of San Giovanni Battista and its medieval defense towers. Walk through the historic center, among artisan shops, panoramic terraces, and alleys scented with pesto and focaccia.

You will continue towards Vernazza, considered the most picturesque village of the Cinque Terre. Here you will admire the Church of Santa Margherita di Antiochia overlooking the small harbor, the ancient sailors’ tower houses, and the little square where time seems to have stopped. The guide will tell you about local fishing traditions and the production of the famous Sciacchetrà wine.

The last stop is Manarola, the village of lovers with its vineyards terraced steeply down to the sea—an 800-year UNESCO agricultural heritage. Free time to stroll through the alleys, shop for typical products (pesto, anchovies, limoncino), and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Afternoon – Scenic Return to Florence

15:00 - Free Lunch (optional): Possibility to have lunch in a typical seafood restaurant with sea view to taste trofie with pesto, Monterosso anchovies, and fresh fried calamari.

16:30 - Departure for Florence: Your private driver will be waiting for you at the port for a comfortable and relaxing return to Florence through the scenic roads of Liguria and Tuscany. Expected arrival in Florence around 19:00, with direct return to your hotel.
